Everything stays on your PC

Library, cache and connected accounts are stored locally on your computer. Deskonsole works without a server. Account features (friends, chat and controller-config backup) are optional and only sync if you create an account; those configs are encrypted before upload.

FAQ

No. Deskonsole also works with mouse and keyboard, but navigation was designed with a controller in mind, from start to finish.

Steam, Epic Games, GOG, EA, Ubisoft, Battle.net and Rockstar. Steam, Epic and GOG use authenticated integration (on Steam, via SteamID64 and a Steam Web API key), so owned games you haven't installed show up too, including Family Sharing titles. It can also import a Playnite library, plus common folders and manually added executables.

Yes. Library, cache and connected accounts (like your Steam Web API key and SteamID64) are stored locally on your computer and are never sent to the cloud. Deskonsole works without a server. If you create an account, optional features like friends, chat and controller-config backup start syncing; those configs are encrypted on your PC before upload.
